In Times Square, everybody looks up. All the
pictures from here show billboards, skyscrapers,
urban canyons, and the crush of an incessant
crowd. One night I decided to have fun by
pointing my lens only downwards, and seeing
what would happen. Here the reflection of a
billboard in a puddle with a hat, probably lost
by a drunk tourist girl, evokes a loneliness that
does not usually go with the place.
